Ghanaian media personality and former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, has firmly denied recent social media allegations suggesting that he is associated with the LGBTQ community or identifies as gay.

Speaking on his show, Good Evening Ghana, on May 16,2025 Adom-Otchere addressed circulating rumors that he described as false and malicious.

He clarified that he has never been gay and has no associations with individuals involved in such claims.

“There are many people in the world, some are gay and others are not gay. I am not gay and I will never be gay,” he said.

The media host responded to reports linking him to an individual identified as Alex Yeboah, over allegations that he had a sexual encounter with him on his wedding day.

Adom-Otchere denied any knowledge of the person, stressing that there was no one by that name present at the time of his wedding preparations.

“Prior to the wedding, the groomsmen and I stayed at the Alisa Hotel for days. We even went to the British High Commission to learn how to wear the Scottish kilt. We were together all the time. There was no one named Alex Yeboah with us,” he clarified.

He also dismissed rumors that his wife had divorced him over alleged LGBTQ-related issues, calling the reports fabricated and baseless.

“They said my wife issued a statement that she has divorced me, that is completely and absolutely false. It is not true at all. These stories are being spread to take advantage of my private life because, viewers, although you see me talking on TV, I’m not an outward person like that. I just have a small circle,” he stated.

Adom-Otchere called on the public to disregard the false claims, stressing the importance of verifying facts before believing or spreading damaging rumors.
